Stress must definitely induce weird dreams. I have a paper due today, and what was one of my dreams about? Yeah, that class, and all the people in it, and turning it in.
In my dream (and in real life), several of the people in the class stayed up all night working on their papers. One person in the class who has several kids realized after pulling an all nighter that her home wasn't in nearly as safe as a neighborhood as she thought. It seemed so nice and secluded in the woods by day. But by night? All sorts of creeps surrounded it and looked in on her children. One of them actually came inside in the morning and got one of her children to run off. It was really scary. Most of our class gathered at her house for support (and to turn in our papers) and several of us were making huge batches of cookie dough (I have no idea why). I called my parents to tell them there'd been an incident but I was safe, and they didn't hardly ask me any questions about it, even though they'd heard a news story about police in the woods going after a prostitute who preyed upon children.
My next dream still took place in a cabin in the woods, and my professor from the class the paper is due in was there, but those are the only similarities to the previous dream. It was an NCIS dream, where Abby installed a scale in the elevator so that anyone who got in could see how much they weighed, and she decided she was getting fat, so she was going to go on a church retreat to lose weight. Tony and McGee went to see her off, where Tony convinced McGee to ask Abby out, which turned out to be really awkward but she went for it anyway. Then we were up in the cabin (we being McGee and Abby, me, my professor, and my professor's mom, and maybe my dad). My professor's mom was doing a presentation, or recapping a speaker she'd recently heard, and mentioned that she knew me or had met me or was related to me somehow (or all of the above). I didn't remember this until she said it, and then I had vague memories of driving someplace with her.
And with all that, I woke up with a pounding headache (probably from the stress and not enough sleep).
