Cheap Haircuts

Last night I had a dream with an ex-boyfriend in it. Something about me and him and an old roommate and my husband trying to find a cheap place for a haircut. We were at a crowded mall or store and were going up and down stairs checking out hair cutting stations. I don't know why any of this is significant but I woke up very grateful to be married to my husband and not this ex-boyfriend. I had other dreams that I would have remembered if I had blogged them as soon as I woke up, but by waiting a few hours they have fled my mind.

Burn Notice Meets NCIS

So my dream started out with a party at some apartment complex where everyone was divided into groups for a scavenger hunt or something. Jeffrey Donovan, the actor who plays Michael Westen on Burn Notice, was at the party.

Then he was Michael Westen. He was exchanging a memory card or something with a "bad guy" by breaking in somewhere (or just sneaking in) and acting like a repair man, and cutting a rectangular whole in the wall, filling it with putty, and sticking the memory card in the putty. But then McGee from NCIS was investigating, and ended up figuring out Michael's plan.

Then there was this other dream where I was flirting with some guy to get him to confess that he'd committed some crime. (Me flirt? Yeah right.) I think it worked.

Queasy and Lego Pirates

I had a dream that I was with my husband's family. I was queasy, and so they kept asking me if I was pregnant. I kept saying "Not yet!"

Then I was playing Lego Pirates of the Caribbean, but it turned into a kind of Peter Pan, with Jack Sparrow being Captain Hook, and Will Turner being Peter Pan.

Nightmares

My dreams last night were nightmares. I was having an NCIS dream, and when the team went to investigate the dead body, they found a whole house full of booby-trapped bodies, so that members of the team were being attacked. It was very gory and graphic and I can't get the images out of my head, no matter how I wish I could.

I woke up, told my husband, and was finally drifting back to sleep when I had a dream that a snake was attacking another snake that was then attacking me. Also nightmarish.

Refrigerators and the Broken Thermometer

I had a dream that my parents got a huge new house. In the basement was a huge kitchen with 10 refrigerators. I wondered why you would ever need that many refrigerators, and then I realized that the previous owners of the house must have had a floral shop and stored the flowers here. I wanted one of the refrigerators to be mine so when I buy a house of my own I won't have to buy a refrigerator too.

I had another dream (or extension of the same dream? I don't remember) where I was taking my temperature, and the thermometer must have been broken, because once it said I had a temperature of over 300 degrees.

Decisions and Ex-Boyfriends

In my dream last night, I was trying to decide which bar review course to use to study for the bar this summer. It didn't calm me down or provide me with any answers, because I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't go back to sleep because I was wondering which one to use.

Two ex-boyfriends also showed up in my dream. One of them I am still friends with, the other I would be ok if I never saw again. In my dream, my mom kept asking about why I didn't have a better relationship with the second ex-boyfriend the way I did with the first. I got really annoyed with this line of questioning, and responded that I was happily married, so why did it even matter?

I had a dream that my husband left for work without giving me a goodbye kiss, and I was devastated. Then all of a sudden I was in a condo similar to the one we stayed at on our honeymoon, and he came back with a grocery bag full of things we didn't need, like really uncomfortable toilet paper when I had just bought some good toilet paper, and wearing a suit, both of which confused me.

Once Upon A Time

I think that is the name of a TV show where fairy tale characters are suddenly in the real world. I have not every actually watched an episode of the show. But that is what my dream was like. Either that or a real world person was suddenly in a fairy tale world. I don't remember other details.
