Nightmares

I had nightmares last night. In the first dream I can remember I was on Taylor Swift's staff. (This dream wasn't necessarily a nightmare, just weird, and I'm not sure when this dream morphed into the next dream, which was a nightmare.) I'm not sure whatmy job was. I would try to help her write songs, but she never liked what I came up with. Then she would overhear me talking and those comments would inspire a line in a song.

Then there was a Romeo and Juliet situation. I was trying to help them get married without their families getting mad. Then Juliet was pregnant and I was still trying to help them get married without anyone hurting them. Then I would walk in and find Juliet hanging, and then walk in again and see someone trying to kill her, and on and on like that. That was the nightmare part, finding this girl dead or nearly so over and over.

And then my baby was there, and we had to cross over this waterway, and there was a bridge but no rails and my baby who can barely crawl couldn't always stay on it and I was afraid she would drown. After that I just couldn't sleep anymore.

Gemical

One of my friends from college was nicknamed Gemical. I haven't seen him for five years. But he appeared in my dreams early this morning.

The first dream, we were at a pool or water park or something. He hugged me (since it has been so long since we saw each other), and jumped. This jump was like a huge leap that took us some distance from where we originally met up. Some girls in one of the pools saw us hugging, and thought we were a couple. They started yelling at us to kiss. We started laughing, because we are both married to other people. Gemical's wife appeared as we were laughing, and I said "you don't mind that this just happened, right? You knew he was crazy silly like this, right?" I actually woke up laughing from that dream.

I went back to sleep, and Gemical was in a commercial for Disneyland. More specifically, I think it was a commercial for a hotel right off the resort so it was cheaper than the Disneyland hotels. It showed people running through a parking lot toward the park. The parking lot and park were right on the ocean. If only Disneyland were that close to the beach! It was beautiful.
