Yet More Burn Notice Dreams

More Burn Notice dreams last night (and I haven't even watched an episode in over a week!).

A lot of it was Mike and Fiona playing their games with each other, wanting the other one, flirting with someone else to make the other one jealous, doing something to please the other one to have it backfire, the likes.

That's not to say that they weren't ever on any jobs. They were. At one point they were somewhere up really high, throwing what looked like arrows off down to buildings or a museum complex or something. At one point they were also rescuing a large group of people from something, and may have been in caverns.

All Over the Map, and Trying On a Wedding Dress

Two dreams last night. The first one, I was moving somewhere for the Summer. I think I was going to Canada, to stay in my great-grandparents' house. I was afraid I wouldn't remember how to find it, because it had been so long since I'd been there, but the dirt road wound around and basically ended in front of it. It was a huge house, lots of windows in the front, lots of bedrooms, lots of pictures on the walls. (That was how I ultimately knew it was the right house, I could find pictures of us on the wall.) Then a bunch of guys I knew from college showed up, they didn't know I was going to be there. It ended up being ok. Then I ended up going to Texas for the summer, and it was on the beach, and Nick came to see me.

There was also a part where I was discussing with Nick a girl I know who is on a mission, and in my dream she was serving in Australia, yet somehow the mission borders had changed and she was in the mission that combined my and Nick's missions. Because Chicago and Arizona are right next to each other, and Australia is in the United States. Weird, I know, but that's the dream.

My next dream I was going to try on my wedding dress, and some guys that I was apparently close to were waiting for me. One guy was with me in the dressing room, and his or somebody's dad walked in while I was in the middle of undressing completely and started talking to us and I was finally like "Why don't you two finish this conversation somewhere else so I'm not standing here naked." They did leave, but I never got my dress completely on. Then the dress shop was in the same place where a gym was, and so there I was, half dressed in the under-slip or something, and everyone had to go sit on the side of the room by the wall. There were a lot of guys there, and I was annoyed with how they were just watching all of these girls change, and there was this girl I was specifically annoyed with because even though she was fully covered, some of her clothing was flesh colored so she still looked half nude. The trainer of the gym called something, and so everybody ran over to the opposite wall to get some sort of weights and run outside, and while everyone was outside, that was when I was going to finally get my dress on to get it fitted. But then we couldn't find the dress and slip anymore, someone had put them away, and then we forgot my shoes. So I don't think I ever got measured.

There was also a moment in one of the dreams where Nick and I were already married, it was nice.

Kidnapped Baby and the NCAA Bracket

In my dream last night, a couple who have just had a baby had their baby kidnapped. They way to get the baby back? Correctly predict the right NCAA basketball bracket and solve other clues pertaining to the bracket to figure out where the baby was. It was weird. It seemed like we predicted one of the games wrong, yet still figured out that the clue to where the baby was being kept was in another game and were able to follow that clue. I don't know if we ever got to exactly where the baby was, but there was a lot of running up and down stairs and climbing rocks to try and get there in time.

NCIS

I had an NCIS dream last night. Half the time I was myself, and half the time I was McGee. It was awesome. There was an emergency training drill, and only Gibbs and I knew it was a training drill. Everyone else thought it was real. I had to climb up into the ceiling tiles of the room I was in, so that it looked like I disappeared, making everyone think I was kidnapped. After I was with the rest of the team again, Ziva came up to me (I was McGee at the moment) and looked me in the eyes and told me that while I was missing, she received a revelation from God about me, and that she could marry me. Then Tony walked in, making that really awkward, because he was apparently now attracted to her. When I was myself, Tony was with Ziva and McGee was with Abby, yet I was flirting with Tony and McGee at the same time.

Weird, but so awesome.

The Russian Prince and the Sound of Music

Last night I dreamed I was somewhere in Eastern Europe. I know this because I fell in love with some sort of Russian prince. I don't remember why I was there, but one of my mediation advisers was there, so maybe there was some sort of conflict that was being resolved, and afterward the prince and I realized we loved each other. There was a baby there that I think was ours, though I don't think we were married. However, after realizing we loved each other, we didn't spend much time together.

It then morphed into some sort of Sound of Music scene, where we lived in a big mansion that was kind of like a stake center, and there were a bunch of kids running around. One of the girls ran outside to get something, and her sister was really afraid she had gone outside in pants instead of dressed up like the princess that she is, and was only slightly less ashamed to see that she had gone out in a "fashion dress" (that's what she said in my dream) rather than her formal dress. We were all supposed to go somewhere, but somehow some people got locked inside the cultural center part of the stake center mansion. I was trying to pry open the double doors, only to realize that each of the double doors was actually a double door itself, if that makes any sense, and so I had to pry open the middle of each door, and that worked to get everyone out.

Engagements

Yesterday I found out that a friend got engaged. So naturally, last night I dreamed about going to her wedding. We (and I'm not sure who I mean by we, a bunch of friends, I guess) decided to surprise our friend at her wedding by packing as many people into the sealing room as a show of how much we love her and support her and are excited for her. We were even trying to sneak people who don't have temple recommends in to let them in on the fun. (I would never do such a thing in real life.) Some of those friends we were trying to sneak in don't even know the friend who just got engaged, we just wanted lots of people there.

During or after the wedding, I realized that I was engaged, but not to Nick, to a guy from my past whom I haven't spoken with since last November. In my dream I realized that even though we were engaged, we hadn't spoken in like a month. I called him to ask him if he still loved me and if he still thought getting married was a good idea, given our current lack of communication. I don't know if he had a response.

I woke up, and for a moment was a little confused. I had forgotten that I am engaged, or thought I was engaged to this person I haven't talked to in so long. Upon realizing it was all just a dream, I was very grateful to be engaged to someone who loves being with me and talking to me every day.

The Theater (sort of)

A guy in my law school class was in a play, and in the dream he was somehow the father of four children from a family from my mission. (Now, that family only has three children, and only two of them were born when I was there, but whatever.) I don't remember if he was just playing their father in the play or if he really was their father. It might have been some sort of festival where there were many plays in a row.

There was another part of the dream that escapes me right now.

Time Traveling in Star Wars, and a Dance Show

I think my dream last night was Star Wars time traveling. (No, I haven't read the book where that actually happens. Yes, a book like that exists.) Padme somehow went back in time from Episode 2 to Episode 1 to have Anakin save something differently, but didn't tell him until after, and then in Episode 3 he wanted her to have him do the same thing for Episode 2. I wish I remembered more details there.

I was also attending a dance performance of some kind, where a company did lots of little skits. Corbin Bleu was one of the dancers, and last minute he was put into a skit where he hadn't normally been, so he didn't do as well. Then between skits they projected a music video from "That Thing You Do," but instead of being that song, it was a song like LFO's Summer Girls or something ridiculous like that.
